Looks like a ghost town here in Fort Langley. We hear that all the people have deserted this town to go to the 'diggings'up in the Cariboo. We'll be able to stretch our legs a bit before boarding the Umatilla to Yale. |

We've just about used all our supplies. The horse we bought in Victoria, "Old Moke" is starting to get bothered by all this travel by ship.
So, we should buy some more supplies when we get to Yale. Yale is one of the last stops to buy supplies before we hit the Cariboo Wagon Road.
Hope there is a general store in Yale!
